I'm really happy for this amazing musician, I really am, Sting was the first concert I've attended to when I was a kid, Sting at that time was with Police and he performed at the Sporting arena in Athens. I remember that I had to steal money from my father's pocket so I could pay for the ticket....I was very young and very naive. When Police hit the stage I remember that I started crying for being among the audience and not on stage, next to Sting, I left in half of the show and I walked home (an hour and 45minute walk) dreaming the moment that I will play music with someone like Sting, with a band like The Police. This is how I started literally travelling the world, Police and Sting were the reason of me going to England...to be closer to them! Enough though with my teen dreams and tears.
Sting comes for two shows, on June 22-23, 2018 It will be part of the former Police frontman's summer European tour and part of the Athens and Epidaurus Festival, which takes place every summer.
An announcement on Sting’s web site promises the concerts will “undoubtedly be the music event of the year! At…a venue of unique acoustic and historical significance, this world-renowned artist will give two concerts to the Greek audience over two evenings that will be remembered for a long time!”
